Modesto 4th of July Parade

Foxy Roxy's Mobile salon made it's debut at Modesto's annual 4th of July parade.  It was a last minute decision on our part to join the festivities, but it turned out to be a great one.  We were excited to show off our newly wrapped bus and our Roxy's huge, giant face and tongue.  

We had a great time, even though it was very, very hot!  Roxy and some of her friends dressed up for the occasion and walked with the bus, along with some of our friends who helped by passing out flyers and business cards.  We had a "mobile prize wheel" (a.k.a. a dude with a prize wheel strapped to the front of him) giving away dog treats and coupons.  We got about half way through the parade route before it got way too hot for the doggies, so they finished off riding in style in the back of the bus with water bowls.

It was great to see so many people out to celebrate Independence Day in Modesto and we had quite a few phone calls the week after from folks who "saw us at the parade"!
